Total Healing Approaches to Fibromyalgia and Other Ailments
I really do believe that perfect health is our destiny and anything can be healed completely. I also believe that any pain can be transcended through effort, treatment, supportive supplements, prayer, healing energy and hope.
Some specific things come to mind that really have helped my clients with a variety of illnesses. These things have personally helped me heal my body as well so I am sharing them below. I hope they give you a sense of instant peace as you can begin right away.
BECOME A STUDENT OF HEALING METHODS
The first of course is to learn all you can about fibromyalgia. Find people or networks online where there are people who have fully healed from it. Learn what they have to say. Since it is your body, you are the one responsible for looking out for your best interests, making sure you heal and get rest, etc. Be your own medical research assistant.
Learn all you can on healing through searching online for terms like "fibromyalgia cure" or "healing from fibromyalgia" so that you can bring information to your doctor or naturopath or other alternative healers when you have to go and get care.
Give yourself credit for making sure you are taken care of and protected. You are watching out for your best interests and you are championing yourself by making sure you get proper care and proper tests done. That knowingness might allow you to smile with confidence that you always have someone looking out for you -- -- and it is you!
SEEK OUT OPEN MINDED PROGRESSIVE PRACTITIONERS
Learning to let your body take its natural course in healing along with supplemental medical help is a great combination. So I would say seeking out some practitioners whether alternative or medical who are experts at healing and supporting the nervous system would be a very important road to take.
REVAMP THE IDEA OF "BYPASSING" ILLNESS
What really stands out to me is what you wrote above. You wrote that nothing shall keep you down for long. Your body is asking you to revisit this philosophy. Think of your body as if it were your car. It is the vehicle that you use to move around in. If the vehicle starts sputtering or making really bad sounds, you won't keep driving it. (If you do the sounds will just get worse - sound familiar?) Eventually you will pull over and get a mechanic. The sooner the better! It is the same with your body.
The world convinces us that if we just push through our pain we will be fine. But that is telling the body, "I'm not listening." This leads to a weakened nervous system, or at least an overwhelmed one. This can show up as a number of different nervous system related ailments, but at the root of them all is someone who is drained of life force and whose system is exhausted. You might try a new approach to health that illness is not necessarily being something to bypass, but an opportunity to do a very loving act toward yourself -- making sure that you are okay. Pull up an imaginary chair and sit with your pain in love and compassion, just as you would sit with a friend at the hospital.
VISUALIZE HEALING
Now onto some more "higher mind" healing aids. It can feel very good to envision yourself surrounded with a hedge of protection and healing light. If you can wrap your mind around the idea that there are higher spirits that are working with you and guiding you, engage them. Talk to them. Acknowledge that you know they are there and let them know that you trust them to guide you to heal, even though you are currently in pain. The body is always working, wanting to heal itself. You can envision his body being healed cell by cell. Sick cells out, healthy cells in. Ask your friends, prayer group, family or other supportive people to envision your total health and vitality with you, cell by cell.
TALK TO YOUR BODY - LET IT KNOW YOU ARE THERE LISTENING
There is also a great power in speaking directly to your body about how you know it is working in your best interest. Our cells, tissues, and organs are naturally programmed to shed illness and restore us to perfect health. Sometimes letting your body know that you know it knows best really gets it going into full gear and returning you to the healthy vibrant individual you were meant to be.
REPEAT AFFIRMATIONS FOR WELLNESS
The following affirmations can be read out loud while you just soak it all in. You can just sit or lie there and enjoy the comfort of where you are and focus on your breathing. You might very likely begin to feel soft, gentle sensations in your body. Smile and acknowledge that this is source energy specifically answering your cellular request.
- It is natural for my body to be well.
- Even if I don't know what to do in order to get better, my body does.
- I have trillions of cells with individual consciousness, and they know how to achieve their individual balance.
- My body knows what to do.
- Well-being is natural to me.
- My inner being is intricately aware of my physical body.
- My cells are asking for what they need in order to thrive, and source energy is answering those requests.
- I'm in very good hands.
- I will relax now to allow communication between my body and my source.
- My only work is to relax and breathe. I can do that.
- I can do that easily.
EVOKE THE SPIRIT OF LOVE
If it feels good for you, repeat the following phrases to yourself (silently or out loud) as much as possible starting right away (you can also post them on the bathroom mirror, the edge of the TV or computer screen or the fridge.):
The phrases are:
"I'm sorry. I love you. Please forgive me. Thank you."
"Thank you for my healing."
These phrases aren't directed at anyone or anything. They are just a way of evoking the spirit of love to heal and these words are what needs to be heard within us on a cellular level.
I know it's hard to do, but when you look at this illness, or any illness, do it with love. The body just wants love and wants to be heard so it can heal. Thank the body for healing itself. Tell it you see it and that you hear the message that you need to make your body and health your first priority in your life now and forever more.
